Our Mission
Resurrection Lutheran Church exists in Pierre, South Dakota in response to the
good news of the gospel, which is ours by faith in Jesus Christ. As a
congregation of the ELCA, our mission is to enable our members and guests to
feel and experience the grace and acceptance of Christ within God's family.
This is reflected by a Christian lifestyle that includes growth, forgiveness,
fulfillment, friendship, faith, hope, and love. We expect to accomplish
our mission by:

providing
inspirational and uplifting worship with regular administration of the
sacraments in an appealing atmosphere

providing Christian
educational opportunities to children, youth, and adults

providing meaningful
fellowship for all ages

evangelical outreach in the community.
